Our recent survey to European Asset managers on Hybrid Funds, in partnership with Funds Europe, confirms that the appetite for hybrid funds is growing. Key areas of interest include private debt, private equity and real estate private debt. However, challenges remain in areas like consolidated reporting and providing transparency. Following the acquisition of the European activities of RBC Investor Services on 1st July, CACEIS' Private Equity division - Private Equity Real Estate Solutions (PERES) - which was already growing strongly, has considerably increased its unlisted fund servicing business and now represents, post-acquisition, more than €545 billion in assets under custody and €300 billion in assets under administration, making it a benchmark player and the European market leader.
