CACEIS ranked among the top 2% of companies in its sector in 2024 with an exceptional score of 80/100. This award reflects our commitment to the rigorous CSR standards that we are constantly improving in order to ensure we make a positive and sustainable impact with our activities.
A major recognition of our commitment to CSR
This score and ranking marks a new high point for CACEIS, and is especially significant as EcoVadis’ assessment criteria are becoming ever more exacting. Today, a high score no longer guarantees a Gold medal as the scoring system is quantile-based with only the top 5% of companies in the sector awarded Gold.
CACEIS ranks among the top 2% of companies in the financial services sector excluding insurance and pension companies. "Our score has risen 7 points on 2023, reflecting the ongoing work to improve our CSR actions across the board. We identified key areas to improve while strengthening our initiatives around the four principal pillars that EcoVadis assesses: Environment, Human & Social Rights, Ethics, and Responsible Purchasing", states Géraldine Valentini, Group Head of Corporate Social Responsibility and ESG.
Why we participate in EcoVadis’ CSR assessment programme
For over a decade, CACEIS has used independent auditing firms to evaluate its CSR/ESG performance. As we take our CSR commitments seriously, independent assessments ensure we remain aligned with market standards while pursuing a programme of continuous improvement.
EcoVadis has established itself as a leading international benchmarking company in terms of CSR assessment. "With a portfolio of more than 130,000 companies audited across 185 countries, EcoVadis’ rating system provides a reliable benchmark for measuring our performance to that of the wider market," comments Géraldine Valentini.
Success through collective effort and hard work
CACEIS has achieved the EcoVadis Gold rating thanks to the hard work and dedication of the CACEIS Group’ staff.
The EcoVadis audit process demands a significant volume of work each year by a wide range of experts within our group. The project is piloted by CACEIS’ CSR-ESG division, and involves key contributions from HR, Compliance, Purchasing, Green IT, and Cybersecurity.
The score and resulting Gold award we achieved has a positive impact for our staff, our clients, and our shareholders. It is a recognition of the attention our group pays to the impact we can have on environmental, social, and ethical factors, which is a core element in our development strategy. "At a time when some players are questioning their ESG commitments, CACEIS is reaffirming its desire to take action and implement initiatives that actually make a difference so we can all keep moving forward towards a more responsible future", concludes Géraldine Valentini.
