Every year, CACEIS creates around 2,000 funds for clients, and to boost the speed and efficiency, CACEIS is further automating the fund onboarding process.
CACEIS’ newly developed application on OLIS will help clients create a new fund, define its characteristics, and using an online questionnaire, select and sign up for associated services. Both clients and our operations staff will benefit greatly from this digitised process, especially the direct link to CACEIS' client/securities repositories, which will allow the creation of the vehicle and any automated controls. With 24/7 availability and an OLIS dashboard for monitoring the progress of the creation process, clients are afforded greater flexibility, transparency and overall efficiency.
"We will soon be in a position to offer our clients a fully digital solution through OLIS that is tightly integrated with our fund repositories. It will allow them to create funds independently and sign up for a host of associated services," concludes Anne Grimaldi, Group Head of Business Implementation & Commercial Support.
The application was developed using agile processes including co-creation with a number of pilot clients to ensure that the project meets end-user needs. Although still under development, the application is expected to be finalised and launched by the end of Q1 2024.
