Last summer, a group of men and women from CACEIS set up a network to promote gender diversity, with the aim of promoting professional equality between men and women, and all forms of diversity and inclusion in the broadest sense. Launched in Paris, it is now gradually being rolled out across the entire CACEIS Group network.
With the support of Jean-Pierre Michalowski, CEO of CACEIS, and Bénédicte Chrétien, Head of Human Resources of the Crédit Agricole S.A.'s group, this new network, named G-R-E-A-T, an acronym for Gender Respect Equality At Target, is fully in line with the CACEIS Group's approach to promoting inclusion and diversity in the construction of a common culture, ‘We are One CACEIS’, following the merger of the CACEIS and RBC IS teams.
Open to all, men and women alike, the network currently consists of 85 members and is expanding across all Group entities, with offices in Germany, Spain, France, Ireland, Luxembourg, Malaysia, etc. The Group's ambition is high: to reach a target of 200 employee members of the network by mid-2025, 500 by 2027 and the majority by 2035.
At CACEIS, GREAT aims to work closely with HR teams and the ‘Diversity and Inclusion’ working group to implement key performance indicators in terms of gender diversity, and action plans aimed at improving the ratio of women to men in recruitment, career development, internal and external speaking engagements, etc.
GREAT is part of the Crédit Agricole Group's other gender diversity networks, including Potentielles de CACIB, Crédit Agricole S.A, Crédit Agricole Assurances, LC'elles, Amundi Women Network, Mixt'&Win (CAPFM), and soon associations such as Financi'elles.
Elena Mesonero, Head of Regional Coverage Spain & LatAm, will represent GREAT at the “Women in Banking Networking Dinner 2024” at SIBOS from 21st to 24th October.
