The launch of CACEIS’ Digital Assets business line at the beginning of the year and its tight integration into the standard client servicing offer, has led the group to obtain Digital Asset Service Provider (DSAP) status in France, and Virtual Asset Service Provider (VSAP) status in both Spain and in Luxembourg.

The CACEIS group, with its new digital asset custody offer and native distribution of tokenised fund shares via public blockchains, is a main sponsor at this year’s Luxembourg Blockchain Week. During the event, which takes place from 9th to 13th December, four of our experts will be speaking on key themes relating to digital assets.

Today, CACEIS has a strong reputation with institutional and corporate clients operating in Europe as a trusted third-party provider of digital custodial services and trading support for cryptocurrencies and stable coins. The group’s services provide a secure and regulated environment offering a similar level of protection to that enjoyed by traditional financial assets.

Philippe Bourgues, Country Managing Director of CACEIS Bank Luxembourg Branch, stated “I am delighted that our development plans have led to the creation of a Digital Asset Centre of Excellence  here in Luxembourg, providing comprehensive support for group-wide clients operating within this new digital ecosystem.”

Laurent Majchrzak, Global Head of Digital Assets at CACEIS, added, “We are particularly proud to have successfully integrated our new digital asset services into our standard servicing offer. This greatly simplifies the entire process for clients who might be experimenting with Blockchain technology and including crypto assets in their investment portfolios. Our services represent a major step towards the safe and secure adoption of this new technology by traditional finance players.”
