CACEIS won the ‘Americas (Inc Latam) Custodian of The Year’ at the recent Asset Servicing Times 2024 Industry Excellence Awards, which were held in London in November. The awards are dedicated to supporting and recognising outstanding achievements within the asset servicing industry. In judging the awards, The Securities Services Advisory Group (TSSAG) provides neutral industry expertise, working with the Asset Servicing Times to shortlist and judge the winners. CACEIS were also shortlisted for ‘European Custodian of The Year’ and ‘Client Service in Custody’ at the same awards.

Achieving the recognition cements an excellent year for CACEIS in LatAm. It also reflects our strong commitment to being a proactive partner with clients in the region, with local operational support teams that have a clear understanding of clients’ business activities and commercial goals.

Since acquiring RBC's European asset servicing activities on 1st July, CACEIS has a representative office in New York. The representative office’s staff support North American asset management firms entering new markets outside the US and accessing new sources of capital. These activities mainly involve assisting with launching offshore funds, and ensuring a close business relationship between the asset managers themselves and our staff working across Europe, Latin America and Asia. Cyril Schopfer, Managing Director & Head of CACEIS in the US, explains the role CACEIS plays in the United States.
